The Penticton Curling Club was re-established in 1988, formerly know as the Penticton Granite Club, at our current location in the SOEC Complex Area. We are a six sheet club and have a current membership of about 480 members. In 2017 we started the Ashley Homestore Curling Classic and revamped the name to Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in 2021. This event see the top mens team from around Canada and the world coming together for a 5 day curling event in which the prize purse is now around $100,000.
Our club has been very active since covid blew thru town and we have seen our highest membership numbers yet, with a very active Seniors group, and a very active beginners group that has helped bring these numbers up. Curling is a sport that everyone from the age of 7 to 90+ can enjoy and play to their own abilities whether that is beginners just out for fun and excercise and socializing to the skill competitive levels of going to the Scotties or Brier.
Our curling season start usually the first week of October and ends the third week of March.
